Interoperability Protocol, Technical Specifications
Pediatría (Asunción) implements an interoperability protocol based on the OAI-PMH (Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting) standard. This protocol enables the metadata of published articles to be automatically harvested by external systems, facilitating their dissemination, visibility, and integration into various scholarly information services.
Through this mechanism, the journal’s content can be harvested by institutional repositories, academic databases, specialized search engines, bibliographic indexes, and scholarly content aggregators, thereby enhancing the accessibility and impact of its publications.
